Ariki Hemp Seed Oil Lip Balm contains two completely natural plant-based sun protectors:
The first prepares the skin for sun & wind exposure by stimulating the synthesis of HSP32, a heat shock anti-oxidant protein in the body, that disables free radicals, & protects against UV shock.

The second protects skin collagen, prevents the appearance of wrinkles after sun exposure, & inhibits the activity of MMP-9, an enzyme that degrades collagens.

Hemp Seed Oil is one of the world's richest sources of Essential Fatty Acids, Vitamin E & polyunsaturated fats, making it an excellent natural moisturizer.  It is great for: sunburn, scrapes, acne, burns, wrinkles, aging, dry or chapped skin, and damaged skin.

Shea Butter nourishes the skin with Vitamin A, E and F, which are particularly helpful for sun damaged skin, premature wrinkles and facial lines.
